I'M, ANDY WARHOL
The exhibition tried to give a fresh look at the work of one of the most prominent scandals personalities of the 20th century and analyze the influence of Warhol and pop art on Russian artists of several generations. The exposition was divided into nine spaces dedicated to different aspects, one way or another related to pop culture and its consumption.
For the first time, Warhol was shown in the same space with the works of Russian artists, from the legends of Sots Art Komar and Melamid and the classic of conceptualism Dmitry Prigov to the Recycle group and other young artists. This has been the most extensive collection in Moscow, featuring more than 200 works on an area of more than 2, 500 m2.
