Owning unique items is a daily positive affirmation in a world where every idea is instantly replicated. The design market in our country is still young, but buying Art and design has already become good form, judging by the latest COSMOSCOW fair, which is encouraging and speaks of the transformation of consumer taste and knowledge. The development of culture should inevitably affect the collectible design market as a whole.

About favorite galleries: in the “Tao Te Ching”, the ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu wrote: “A great presence is difficult to see. A great sound is difficult to hear. A great image has no form.” The concept of the BOOROOM GALLERY stand “The Art of Stone” is a close study of the nature of stone, a meditative search for new meanings in the combination of the natural and the man-made.

The mission of the PALATY GALLERY is to find and apply Russian DNA to objects relevant to global design. The plot of this year's stand was "The Inside Out" - the reverse side, what is hidden inside, the most intimate and real. When creating, each creator puts their soul into it, turns it inside out, and shows openness, sincerity, and the state of their inner world. Authors: Anna Chervonna with multi-layered applications of brass mesh, new works by Natalia Makarova and Ruslan Mazloev. This year, the gallery showed the value of handicrafts in more depth and paid special attention to regional authors.

The central place of the Heritage Gallery exposition is occupied by vintage Africa chairs, created in 1975 by the legendary duo in the history of Italian design Afra and Tobia Scarpa for the Maxalto factory. They worked on light, furniture, and buildings, leaving the world real “diamonds”, collected in the world’s leading galleries and private collections. It's worth noting that the works of Russian designers look worthy in such a neighborhood too. The chest of drawers with arches on the facade is the work of Sergei Khrabrovsky, and the hoof-shaped chair, sofa, and new chandelier based on Matisse’s “Dance” are made according to the design of Roman Plys.
