The Moscow Museum of Modern Art presented a solo exhibition of works by contemporary multidisciplinary artist Annushka Broshe. The exhibition includes more than 200 works created by the master over the past 25 years in various genres and techniques: from painting and graphics to installation and video art. The main accent is on ceramics, which Annushka Broshe has been actively creating lately and sees as a metaphor for women and their creativity.

Annushka was one of those who initiated changes in the gender imbalance in contemporary Russian art. She creates a ramified metanarrative about art and women. The main key to reading the exhibition sections is the artist's personality. References to mythological and literary characters in the exhibition sections ultimately lead to Annushka's figure with her thoughts, life, and artistic experience.

The leitmotif of the project was the ancient Greek myth of the first woman Pandora, created by divine will from clay. By lifting the lid of the pithos, she released numerous troubles and misfortunes into the world. Humanity received hope along with them. The image of man is in the center of the main section of the exhibition. Despite fragility and the burden of irreversible changes, man is the bearer of the incredible strength of spirit, capable of overcoming natural limitations and creating new life.

The artist also focuses on the abandoned Konakovsky faience factory located in the Tver region, formerly known as Kuznetsovsky. In the past, thousands of people worked there, and its products were distributed in huge quantities throughout the Soviet Union. Finding fragments of the past, the artist also acts as an archaeologist, taking amazing artifacts from under dusty rubble, reminiscent of the treasures of an unknown civilization, and interpreting her creative insight with their help.
