INSPIRATION
Organic architecture is not only a trend of architectural thought but also a real philosophy, which is based on the idea of harmony between humans and the world around them. Organic architecture originated in the 1890s as opposed to functionalism. The first mention of it belongs to Louis Sullivan. However, his follower Frank Lloyd Wright, who formulated its main postulates, was destined to make this style popular. In the entire history of organic architecture, the initial idea of its inseparability from nature and landscape has evolved, promoting its new variations (bionic, ecological, and so on). The modern surge of interest in organic architecture
is due to the desire of a person to again become a part of the surrounding world. The main features of the modern organic architecture use of natural materials, blurring the boundaries between the interior and the outside world, and elements of living nature in the interior, but the most important feature is maximum blending into the landscape. A striking example of this style is the new year-round premium resort in the South of Russia Mriya Resort & SPА, a product of well-coordinated teamwork, exceptional design, and innovative ideas. Surrounded by an extraordinary natural landscape, the resort becomes truly unique.

CONCEPT
The iconic British architect Sir Norman Foster (Foster + Partners) created the concept for the project. This is his first completed project in Russia. Norman Foster graduated from Yale, is rightfully an architect of the future, and is the author of unique projects around the world. This includes Apple's new US headquarter, which has solar panels on the roof, powering the campus with 100% renewable energy. As well as Wembley
Stadium, Millennium Bridge, City Hall, the famous cucumber-Mary Axe in London, Torre Caja skyscraper in Madrid, Hearst Tower in New York, and Hong Kong airport. By the early 2000s, the architect already had the RIBA gold medal, the AIA award, and the title of the Pritzker Prize laureate. In addition, the British Queen gave him the title of baron.

PHILOSOPHY OF EXCELLENCE IN HOSPITALITY
The building of Mriya Resort & SPА is made in the form of a lotus flower with five outstretched petals – four blocks and a swimming pool. Thanks to this unusual shape, Norman Foster was able to maintain the privacy of each room and provide all guests of the complex with a picturesque view of the sea and mountains. The hotel has 425 rooms and 37 villas. The complex also includes centers of aesthetic and general medicine, equipped with the latest technologies. The SPA & Wellness, including the new Balneological complex, is acknowledged as a place for true relaxation. The natural effect of the elements of water, fire, and air relaxes and soothes at the same time, fills with vitality, and tones the overall condition
of the body. Also, a large innovative Dreamwood children's amusement park and WinePark as a HUB of modern winemaking have been created on the territory. Separately, it is worthwhile to mention the luxurious Six Senses Japanese Garden created by the stunning Japanese landscape architect Shiro Nakane, a curator of the Imperial gardens in Kyoto. In addition, a futuristic waterfront that has been renovated to become a unique destination for beach entertainment, fitness, yoga, first-class yachting, and scuba diving. The resort's philosophy of excellence in hospitality will take you on an exciting gastronomic journey through eight restaurants serving the world's main cuisines.

ECOSYSTEM OF FUTURE
Mriya Resort & SPА is an impeccable ecosystem of the future for a radical extension and improvement of human life. You can restore energy, improve health and general tone of the body, and gain new knowledge here. The complex opened its doors to guests in 2014 but the master plan for the development of the territory continues to launch new constellations of objects in collaboration with an international team of architects.
